Heat Map

A heat map is a graphical representation of data that uses colors to indicate the level of activity.   Darker colors (blues) are generally used to indicate low activity, and brighter colors (reds) to indicate high activity.  In web analytics, heat maps are typically used for displaying which areas of  a web page are viewed the most often .
